Pricing Manager Air Freight Region Europe and Cluster Germany / Switzerland (w / m / d)

This position focuses on preparing global business processes within DB Schenker countries to enhance business effectiveness and efficiency, while promoting innovation, flexibility, and technological integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading AFR RFQs for the Region Europe on a global level
• Developing tender-specific Air Freight transport solutions, particularly for Region Europe
• Coordinating all pricing elements, including cost and rate components worldwide
• Preparing proposals, verifying, and benchmarking pricing in collaboration with divisions and local organizations
• Assessing incoming tenders based on predefined criteria
• Compiling tenders independently on a global scale
• Creating presentations and pricing documents
• Participating in customer meetings on-site
• Collaborating closely with purchasing and sales departments

Requirements:

Our ideal candidate is a qualified logistics expert with a background in Air Freight and experience in the forwarding industry. We expect the following skills:

• Professional training as a freight forwarding specialist and/or a degree in logistics, transport, or business administration
• Over 5 years of experience in airfreight operations and freight forwarding
• Experience in Airfreight pricing and tender management
• Ability to work independently and responsibly
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with data analysis
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience in planning, controlling, and leading AFR RFQs at local, regional, and global levels
• Proven leadership and project management abilities
• Fluent in English and German, both spoken and written
• Excellent communication skills and team-oriented mindset
• Flexible, mobile, and motivated personality
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (MS Office 2007/2010)
• Willingness to travel globally
