Job description
Tasks
- Develop and implement pricing strategies to increase profitability and market share
- Analyze technical characteristics and market data to group materials into product categories with appropriate pricing strategies
- Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and accuracy in pricing operations
- Incorporate customer feedback and market trends to increase competitiveness and customer satisfaction
- Assess pricing risks and define mitigation strategies to ensure profitability and market positioning
- Define and monitor KPIs related to pricing activities
- Analyze pricing and market trends, propose adjustments, and maintain pricing tools
- Collaborate with sales, product management and other stakeholders to align pricing expectations
- Drive continuous improvement of pricing processes, tools and data analysis
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, business informatics or industrial engineering
- Initial experience in finance and several years of experience in manufacturing engineering, product development and process optimization
- Solid knowledge of change management and project management
- Strong data analysis skills
- Advanced knowledge of Python, SQL, SAP and Google Workspace
- Business fluent German and English skills (min. C1); French is an advantage
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe (once or twice a year)
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) and a CV in English are strictly required
