Job Responsibilities:
Provide high-level pre-sales and technical support to our DACH customer base.
Support European sales organizations with product demonstrations and evaluations at customer premises.
Assist existing channels with project design, specifications, and quotations.
Coordinate with Sales & European Technical departments to ensure up-to-date product knowledge and awareness of product updates, end dates, and new product launches.
Deliver detailed, accurate, and timely reports on all pre-sales activities, product issues, and customer concerns.
Handle incoming calls from distributors and channel customers.
Follow up on leads from CRM database or exhibitions.
Follow up on marketing incentives or product promotions.
Act as a conduit between Business Development Managers and Technical Support for coordinated customer interactions.
Improve management of inbound calls.
Follow up on cold calls and new leads to generate new business, passing qualified leads to Key Account Managers or BDMs.
Participate in important project meetings with the European sales team.
Provide on-site support at all levels.
Manage loaned sample units.
Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Country Manager.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a similar pre-sales role.
Extensive experience with CCTV pre-sales and technical environments.
Full working knowledge of CCTV products, especially IP product ranges.
Proficiency in Visio, CAD, or equivalent schematic drawing software.
An Engineering Degree is advantageous.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A proactive desire to enhance market presence and brand recognition.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills at all levels, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to build strong, lasting relationships with internal colleagues and external customers and partners.
