Job Description

The IMU development department of Bosch Sensortec GmbH is responsible for project management, requirements definitions and performance validation of all IMU products.

  • You will join a product development team at Bosch Sensortec focusing on Inertial Measurement Units (IMUs);key work packages are measurement evaluation, experiment definition and execution review in close cooperation with the international development team in an open and collegial environment
  • You derive, benchmark, and improve test standards in cooperation with experienceddevelopment experts; you verify and document measurements standards for the testing of micromechanical sensors for consumer products (e.g. smartphones, tablets, smartwatches and many more interesting applications)
  • You evaluate sensor-specific data and perform initial data assessment with respect to test artifacts and known sensor failure patterns
  • You coordinate and communicate activities and status at the interface with various stakeholders (e.g., test center coordination, sensor experts, project teams)

  • Experience and Know-How: Basic knowledge in data analysis, experience in the field of sensor technology or electronics and in the test environment
  • Languages: Good knowledge of German andEnglish
  • Education: Very good Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics or comparable + the clear intention to proceed with your Master´s Degree after finishing the practical phase of the PreMaster program
Additional Information

The Bosch PreMaster Program (Gap Year Program) is a two-stage qualification program for committed graduates with Bachelor's degrees who want to complete a Master's degree. After the Bachelor's degree, the first phase provides up to 12 months' practical experience for familiarization with technical and business interrelationships. The second phase comprises the Master's course and includes additional events and seminars as well as personal mentoring on the road to successful completion.
