The activities of the Pre-Sales / Solution Architect (m/f/d) with ESG Expertise comprise the following tasks:

The field of activity includes providing technical guidance to clients, interested parties, and partners in the use of the Tagetik software solution. This relates to a deep understanding of ESG and technical support in the sales process to explain the benefit of our solution to potential customers.

Within the scope of the sales process for new and existing clients, the Solution Architect partners with the Account Manager and partners on the successful acquisition of projects. Responsibilities include tender documents, conducting product demonstrations, creating prototypes and presentations, conducting client presentations and workshops, and outlining solutions for implementing client requirements.

The task area may also include support at internal and external events, creation of specialist articles or publications, and lecturing activities.

To remain up to date with product and process know-how, ongoing training regarding new or modified reporting standards in the office of the CFO or regulations in ESG is necessary, as is learning new software functions arising from new program versions, modules, or technological changes.

Furthermore, a good and quick understanding of processes from potential customers is essential to deeply understand their requirements and transform them into solutions to be discussed with the prospect to gain confidence during the sales process.

Job Requirements

  1. (Post-) graduate degree in business administration, commercial informatics, informatics, or a comparable qualification, or professional experience as a consultant or controller/accountant; experience in sustainability is a plus.
  2. Combination of sustainability and finance knowledge with technical competence.
  3. First experience in Presales of Corporate Performance Management (CPM) preferred.
  4. Confident presentation skills at management level.
  5. Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel.
  6. Enjoy working with customers and interest in ESG.
  7. Excellent English skills (verbal and in writing); German speaking is a must.
  8. Willingness to travel nationally and internationally (presentations, project meetings, etc.).
