We are expanding their presence in the DACH region and are hiring a Pre-sales & Partnerships Engineer (m/f/d) to join the Digital Engineering Services division.

This division specializes in Banking & Financial Services and has strong delivery capabilities in sectors such as Insurance, Manufacturing, and Telecom.

In this role, you will focus on the Banking & Financial Services industry, collaborating closely with sales, software engineering teams, partners, and customers.

They deliver compelling, high-value digital transformation solutions that enhance efficiency, quality, and support critical business functions.

You will be supported by colleagues in Germany and Portugal to help you succeed and contribute to ongoing growth.

What will be your tasks?

  1. Shape the offer positioning within the Banking & Financial Services industry, meet customers, understand their needs, generate new business opportunities, and build trusted relationships with key stakeholders.
  2. Stay updated with industry specifics by attending events, understanding market trends, and leveraging social media platforms like LinkedIn.
  3. Create content such as technical articles and develop client project use cases.
  4. Write compelling proposals to close deals effectively.
  5. Develop project delivery calendars and estimations, involving relevant stakeholders, and challenge technical solutions.
  6. Manage targeted lead generation campaigns in collaboration with Business Development, Marketing, and Enablement teams.
  7. Autonomously manage your tasks with team and manager support.
  8. Think strategically and tactically.
  9. Identify and develop strategic alliances to enhance differentiation, speed to market, and value creation.

What do we expect from you?

  • Strong background in Banking & Financial Services with proven sector experience.
  • Solid technical experience in business development, including architecture, bespoke solutions, or digital transformation projects.
  • Interest or understanding of Software Engineering challenges and projects.
  • Consultative style with good negotiation skills to develop meaningful relationships.
  • Excellent written and spoken English and German skills for clear communication of technical and functional requirements.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within and outside the EU.
