A diverse range of tasks in a team where you will quickly take on a key role in negotiating long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs), preparing decision-making foundations, and continuously optimizing our internal processes - all while closely collaborating with other departments.

Your sunny outlook :

  • You will structure and negotiate long-term PPAs for individual projects or project portfolios from our European pipeline
  • You will also prepare and coordinate PPA tender processes for projects in our pipeline, as well as handle and prepare offers for incoming PPA tenders
  • You will work closely with the Investment, Project Finance, Legal, Energy Portfolio Management, and Energy Risk Management teams to ensure that PPAs are financeable and fit within our portfolio strategy
  • You will report and present your negotiation outcomes to internal committees to facilitate business decisions
  • You will analyze developments in electricity markets, monitor long-term price trends, and build new relationships with industrial customers in our core markets

  • A degree in business administration, engineering, economics, mathematics and physical sciences or a comparable field
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in energy trading, energy sales or energy procurement, preferably with a focus on renewable energy
  • A proven track record in evaluating, structuring, and negotiating long-term PPAs or comparable complex commercial agreements.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • A deep understanding of the fundamentals of European electricity markets, market participants, and regulatory frameworks, with a strong analytical perspective
  • Knowledge of industrial energy procurement and sales processes, combined with strong numerical and analytical skills, self-motivation, and a commitment to quality
  • A team player with high flexibility and a positive attitude, even in stressful situations
  • Excellent communication skills in English. German, Spanish, or Italian highly desirable
