My client is a leading European energy company with an entrepreneurial PPA Division focused on expanding its renewable energy portfolio. Operating like a startup within the larger organization, the team drives innovation and market disruption in solar PV and onshore wind projects.
The PPA Originator will play a key role in securing and structuring Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) across Europe. This high-impact position is ideal for a commercially driven professional eager to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
Originate and develop corporate PPAs, identifying key decision-makers and building strong client relationships.
Structure and negotiate PPA contracts, ensuring compliance and optimizing value.
Analyze market trends and regulatory developments to identify opportunities.
Collaborate across legal, finance, and development teams to support new projects.
Represent my client at industry events and drive market visibility.
Frequent travel within Europe required.
Degree in Engineering, Economics, Business, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in energy, with a focus on PPA origination.
Proven track record in PPA deal structuring across European markets.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
