Qualifikationen

Electrical Engineer

Your Tasks:

• Investigation of power system switching/lightning transients, insulation coordination, resonance (SSR, SSTI) and converter-driven stability
• Acquisition and execution of power system studies related to EMT
• Technical support of our national and international customers as modelling and simulation expert for power system transients
• Planning and execution of training and seminars worldwide about EMT and other topics related to power system analysis
• Development and improvement of PowerFactory application examples and guidelines
• Support of the PowerFactory-development related to EMT-simulation, corresponding models, co-simulation and corresponding interfaces
• Attending international conferences and trade fairs as well as participating in working groups in your field of expertise
• Product presentations and technical support for sales processes

Your Profile:

• Degree (Masters/ PhD) in Electrical Power Engineering
• Experience in the analysis of power system transients
• Experience with PowerFactory or other established EMT tools
• Skills in Python or other scripting languages are of advantage
• Experience with modelling in DSL/Modelica is beneficial
• Willingness to extend your expert knowledge in other fields
• Ability to communicate, collaborate and interact with clients and project members
• Willingness to travel
