The position is based in the Department of Economics within the Faculty of Management, Economics and Social Sciences, which is consistently ranked among the top schools in research and teaching. The candidate will be part of the ERC-funded research group of Professor Sebastian Siegloch. Collaboration with other members of the DFG-funded Cluster of Excellence ‘ECONtribute : Markets & Public Policy’ (jointly with the University Bonn) and the Department of Economics is welcome.

YOUR TASKS

  • The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the research of the Department, in particular within the ERC-funded project ‘Housing, Inequality and Public Policies’.
  • No teaching responsibilities are associated with this position.

YOUR PROFILE

  • We are seeking a talented applied economist at an early career stage, working in the fields of public, labor and / or urban economics with an interest in housing markets.
  • Candidates hold a doctoral degree in economics or are near completion.
  • We are looking for candidates who have the potential for publishing in top ranked international journals.
