Jobbeschreibung

42,500 students and 7,750 employees in teaching, research and administration, all working together to shape perspectives for the future – that is the University of Münster. Embedded in the vibrant atmosphere of Münster with its high standard of living, the University’s diverse research profile and attractive study programmes draw students and researchers throughout Germany and from around the world.

Our globalized world is shaped by international mass migration. In the twenty-first century, the forces behind population movements are stronger than ever and migration is itself a key driver of social, cultural, and political change, including, above all, the proliferation of diaspora communities and new modes of citizenship. By focusing on these interconnected phenomena, the COFUND Postdoctoral Programme “Migration, Diaspora, Citizenship” opens up research opportunities for postdoctoral scholars and artists with a wide range of academic interests and backgrounds, who will become part of an innovative international, interdisciplinary and intersectoral ‘network of networks’ based at the University of Münster, Germany.

The COFUND fellowship programme “Migration, Diaspora, Citizenship” at the University of Münster is seeking to fill four positions as early-career
