The Munschauer Lab at the Centre for Integrative Infectious Disease Research (CIID) is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral scientist to carry out a collaborative research project at the intersection of computational biology and systems virology. Our laboratory takes a systems biology-inspired approach and combines cutting-edge technologies from the area of mass spectrometry and genomics, together with bioinformatics to understand the molecular interactions between RNA viruses and their hosts.
The project is centered on the integration and analysis of multiomics datasets utilizing advanced machine learning approaches and biological network analysis. The successful candidate will join an interdisciplinary and international team of computational and experimental scientists, gaining unique opportunities to develop novel computational tools and pipelines for the analysis and integration of genomic, transcriptomic and proteomic data.
