Eine etablierte Forschungseinrichtung sucht einen Postdoktoranden für die Kristallzucht von Supraleitern. Qualifikationen

• Doktortitel in Physik, Chemie oder Materialwissenschaften erforderlich.
• Erfahrung im Einzelkristallwachstum und in der Synthese anorganischer Materialien.

Aufgaben

• Leitung von wissenschaftlichen Projekten in fortschrittlichen Physiklaboren.
• Analyse und Charakterisierung von Materialien bei niedrigen Temperaturen.

Kenntnisse

Verständnis von Supraleitung und chemischer Bindung

Hintergrund in der Synthese anorganischer Materialien

Requirements

• Understanding of superconductivity and chemical bonding
• Comprehensive background in inorganic materials synthesis
• Handling of toxic and air sensitive materials
• Techniques to characterize materials and measure their physical properties at low temperatures
• Analyze and understand experimental results

Qualifications and skills

• University degree and PhD in physics, chemistry or material science
• Ability to work in a team and interdisciplinary environment
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Background in quantum phenomena arising from different types of lattices
• Hands-on experience in single crystal growth
