Your Role: The Materials Innovation Pipeline (MIP) team in Electronics division is seeking a curious and open-minded PostDoc/ Scientist (all genders) who is passionate about advancing developments in advanced photolithography. In line with our mission in Electronics to promote digital living, MIP develops sustainable solutions and innovative products for the semiconductor industry.
In this position, you will develop new formulations, processes, and measurement techniques in the laboratory and discuss results as well as scientific strategies with local and international colleagues (all genders). You will drive digital topics, ideally possess programming skills, and have an interest in measurement instruments along with their operation. Additionally, you will work hands-on in the lab and benefit from MIP's modern laboratory and office infrastructure, a flat culture and skill-focused organization, as well as extensive scientific expertise within the Electronics division and beyond.
The position is initially limited to 2 years, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent contract. Application documents can be submitted in German or English.
Who you are:- PhD in Materials Science, Chemistry, or are a semiconductor Physicist (all genders) with a strong interest in chemistry
- Experience in photolithography and/or computer-aided modeling is advantageous
- Curious, proactive, and self-organized with a results-oriented mindset
- You are a team player who enjoys working in international teams
- You value the opportunity for continuous personal and professional development
- Fluent in English, German is a bonus
