The Philosophy Seminar at Heidelberg University is looking for a

Post-doctoral researcher in philosophy (f / m / d)

from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2029, full-time.

The position :

• The post-doctoral researcher conducts internationally recognised research in philosophy
• The position contributes to interdisciplinary research by bridging philosophy and other disciplines

Your profile :

• The successful candidate has a Ph.D. in Philosophy and specializes in ethics, theory of action, or a related field
• Research experience in biomedical ethics or moral psychology is an asset
• The successful candidate has interdisciplinary experience and is keen to collaborate with colleagues from the sciences
• They contribute to events and administration at Heidelberg

The position can be shared. Salary is in the German TV-L E 13 pay range (currently € 52-74.000 / year before tax, depending on experience). Employment includes social security and child benefits (if applicable), health insurance, pension, and sick pay.
