Your role

We are looking for a motivated Post-doc in Flavor Ingredients – Synthesis (m/f/d) to join our R&D team and contribute to the development and scale-up of innovative (natural) raw materials for flavor applications. The position is initially limited to 18 months , with the potential for extension depending on future developments .

• Development of new (natural) raw materials and process optimization of existing raw materials (including generation of IP)
• Up-scaling of new development candidates in close collaboration with our Pilot Plant Team
• First experiences in Molecular Modeling (e.g. Discovery Studio) would be an asset
• Documentation of Results and Project Management (Quattro ELJ and AdaptiveWork)
• Literature screening using common databases (e.g. SciFinder) including evaluation and editing of results
• Presentation of research results to mixed internal teams, customers and on international conferences
• Responsible for laboratory safety aspects

About you

PhD in Organic Chemistry (or closely related field) additional working experiences abroad are beneficial.

• High level of proficiency in both written and spoken English
• Good knowledge of German
• Self-organized and enjoying work in (multidisciplinary) teams
• Good communication and presentation skills
