We are looking for you, starting immediately, in part-time or full-time, permanent roles, to impact the Green Energy Markets sector.
Your Job:
- Valuation and Pricing: Define pricing and risk parameters for our German Renewables and Flexibility portfolio, collaborating with our Rotterdam trading team.
- Business Case Ownership: Convert pricing and risk data into actionable business cases, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness, making decisions based on risk-reward assessments.
- Deal Collaboration: Work with Structuring & Origination on Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) and battery projects to execute complex deals.
- Administration: Maintain and administer deals in trading systems, ensuring MtM and P&L accuracy.
- Proactive Trend Analysis: Identify market trends early and suggest innovative ideas to enhance commercial outcomes.
- Tool Alignment: Manage and optimize analytical tools, coordinating with Hamburg and Rotterdam teams.
- Regulatory Insight: Keep updated on market trends and inform the Regulatory Affairs team to support energy transition strategies.
- Market Expertise: Leverage your deep understanding of the German market to enhance our portfolio.
- P&L Accountability: Take responsibility for profit and loss performance, focusing on strategic growth.
- Knowledge Sharing: Facilitate exchange of insights and best practices across teams in Hamburg and Rotterdam.
Your Skills:
- Academic Background: Degree in finance, engineering, or similar supporting analytical rigor.
- Experience: Several years in trading with a good understanding of the German Renewables and Flexibility portfolio.
- Analytical Skills: Strong modeling skills, proficiency in Excel, and Python as a bonus.
- Operational Excellence: Experience in process structuring and streamlining with attention to detail.
- Entrepreneurial Drive: Results-oriented, adaptable, innovative problem solver.
- Stakeholder Management: Proactive communicator, effective in cross-location collaboration.
