Qualifikationen

About CBM

We work in partnership to create an inclusive society for all.To enrich our Humanitarian Project Management Team, we are looking forward to recruiting a Portfolio Coordinator*!

The position is temporary for 2 years and full time with 39 h/week.
These are your responsibilities
  • Development and coordination of Inclusive Humanitarian Action projects and activities, e.g., in Ukraine, Bangladesh, consortia, and other emergency aid contexts, including donor- and own funded projects
  • Supporting CBM country offices and project partners in coordinating and managing humanitarian projects: Complex donor-funded projects, consortia projects, and larger sudden onset responses
  • Identification and assessment of international cooperation and consortium partners for the portfolio
  • Controlling the emergency budget and forecasting expenditure (incl. coordination of reporting of Grants of the BEH Alliance)
  • Maintenance and administration of relevant internal databases and the CBM project software
  • Representation in internal working groups for process optimisation (PDI, IT, etc.)
  • Responsible for the implementation of CBM's internal Humanitarian Quick Reference Guide (QPRG) including regular updates/translations of the associated templates
  • Other activities and tasks within the area of inclusive humanitarian action as required and instructed
These are your qualifications
  • Completed studies in a relevant subject area
  • Several years of experience in the coordination and handling of complex third-party funded projects and in dealing with public donors (Federal Foreign Office, BMZ, ECHO and other relevant donors)
  • Excellent knowledge of English plus French or Spanish (other languages an advantage)
  • Relevant practical experience in humanitarian aid and in fragile countries and contexts
  • Experience in the inclusion of people with disabilities is an advantage
  • Willingness to travel to Germany and the respective partner countries for programme implementation
  • Intercultural competence
  • Identification with the Christian values and mandate of CBM
