As a PLM Teamcenter Expert (f/m/d) at Siemens Energy, you are a major part of our mission “connecting efficient factories”. Within a global and distributed development team, you are responsible for defining and supporting CAD/CAE/PDM and PLM solutions and related architecture to enable and improve transformer engineering and manufacturing. You ensure the implementation of standardized PDM/PLM components in an agile manner, providing sustainable engineering tool solutions while minimizing operational costs. Your expertise supports non-standard functional requirements from end-customers, contributing to sustainable PDM/PLM solutions aligned with Siemens Energy guidelines such as cybersecurity, SE IT agile, and modern development standards. Your work enhances Siemens Energy's competitiveness by enabling more efficient site engineering.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Support Power Transformer (PT) Engineering Design business worldwide by defining and realizing requirements for CAD/CAE/PLM and ERP solutions, aiming to improve PT business processes with IT and user communities.
• Collaborate internationally with colleagues and business partners in CAD/CAE/PLM tool development, operation, and support, interfacing directly with PT Engineering, manufacturing, SCM, and digitalization teams as the Business PLM system coordinator and project manager.
• Define business requirements, develop blueprint specifications, business cases, project schedules, coordinate resources, and conduct status meetings with stakeholders and partners.
• Coordinate software specifications, development, release, distribution, and operation processes with key users and development teams.
• Analyze, evaluate, and estimate business/user requirements and design solutions with stakeholders and project teams.
• Define, hand over, and maintain PLM software components for in-house operations at transformer production sites, and provide user support.
• Contribute to improving development methods and processes within a multicultural, agile, highly skilled team.
• Support Siemens Energy transformer business by enhancing quality, efficiency, and sustainability through digitalization and tool development efforts.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or engineering, focusing on IT, CAD/CAE, PLM, and ERP systems.
• Over 5 years of experience as an Administrator and/or Project Manager in 3D CAD/CAE (ProE, Creo, NX) and PLM systems (Oracle CADIM/Agile, Windchill, Teamcenter), including underlying processes.
• Familiarity with software support and development in mechanical design for Transformer business, with experience in use, operation, or customization of Creo, PDMLink, Oracle CADIM/Agile, or Teamcenter, including configuration and automation capabilities.
• Profound experience in CAD/PDM/PLM tool harmonization, system architecture, concept design, and interface development.
• Knowledge of Siemens Energy IT architecture development processes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English, with willingness to travel in an international environment.
