Rocket Factory Augsburg (RFA) is seeking a skilled PLM Administrator to manage our PDM/PLM landscape and drive standardization across prototyping and production. You will work in an international team, ensuring smooth configuration management and lifecycle releases, with English as the daily working language.

The role emphasizes implementing and maintaining Teamcenter with Active Workspace, integrating NX, and aligning CAD policy adoption while maintaining cost and delivery efficiency.

Qualifikationen

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years experience with PLM/PDM and related systems.
• Extensive knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter with Active Workspace and NX integration.
• Experience promoting CAD policies and procedures across the org.
• Experience setting up and maintaining PLM server architecture.
• Good communication in English (written and spoken).

• Support engineers by maintaining design documentation, BOMs and data standards.
• Implement standards and customizations; optimize processes for safety, quality, cost and delivery.

• Coordinate with engineering on configuration management and design standards.
• Oversee PLM/PDM lifecycle releases and related documents such as drawings and datasheets.
• Assist designers in creating, verifying and reviewing digital models.

About The Team

We are looking for an exceptionally motivated and experienced PLM Administrator (f/m/d) to join our special-projects rocketry team. Participate and improve our demanding prototyping efforts by implementing and organizing our PLM software. You will work in a dedicated, dynamic and international environment that aims for excellence by creating high-performance engineering solutions while keeping prototyping and production costs at an absolute minimum.

Your Tasks

• Be responsible for the development, implementation, optimization and maintenance of product data management (PDM) and product lifecycle management (PLM) tools and database to improve productivity
• Support our engineers by maintaining product design documentation, including the release of BOMs and product data standardization
• Implement company standards and customizations; analyze and optimize process to maximize safety, quality, cost and delivery
• Submit documentation for review and approval and follow process to ensure procurement of prototype parts meets the requirements of the engineering departments
• Coordinate with engineering teams regarding configuration management and design standards requirements
• You will have oversight for the release of our PLM/PDM lifecycle and documentations like drawings, reports, BOMs or datasheets
• Support our team of designers in designing, verifying and reviewing digital models

Your Qualifications

• Master's or bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent with experience in engineering/production an advantage
• 5+ years experience with product lifecycle and product data management and relevant systems and technologies
• High degree of knowledge and experience in the architecture and configuration of Siemens Teamcenter with Active Workspace and integration with Siemens NX
• Experience driving adoption of CAD policies and procedures across the organization
• Experience in setting up and maintaining business level PLM server architecture
• Understanding of custom command creation inside NX (NXOpen with VB.Net) are considered as a plus
• Design experience with structural components using NX or another 3D CAD software an advantage
• Business fluent English oral and written (all day-to-day activities are performed in English)
• Strong time management, team player attitude and self-motivated
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Cost and risk awareness and solution-oriented way of working
