Zusammenfassung

Rocket Factory Augsburg (RFA) seeks a Stage Assembly & Integration Technician to contribute to prototype development and time- and cost-critical test campaigns in an international, dynamic New Space start-up.

You will perform CNC milling/turning tasks, operate mills and lathes, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances while collaborating with a diverse team in Augsburg, Germany.

Qualifikationen

• Completed apprenticeship in a technical field.
• 3+ years of experience with CNC lathes and milling machines.
• Experience with Siemens 840D and Heidenhain TNC 426 controllers.
• Fluent English oral and written (daily work in English).

• Set up, adjust and operate CNC machines to perform milling, drilling, boring, turning or related operations to close tolerances.
• CNC-controlled metal processing of individual or series parts.
• CNC-post-processing of 3D-printed parts.
• Perform inspection, preventative maintenance and ensure machines are operating optimally.

About The Team
Our international and agile team is looking for support from a motivated person as a Stage Assembly & Integration Technician (f/m/d). This is your opportunity to be closely involved in the challenging development of prototypes and time- and cost-critical test campaigns. Your Tasks

• Set up, adjust and operate CNC machines to perform a variety of milling, drilling, boring, turning or related operations to close tolerances
• CNC-controlled metal processing of individual or series parts
• CNC-post-processing of 3D-printed parts
• Perform inspection, preventative maintenance and ensure machines are operating optimally

Your Qualifications

• Completed apprenticeship in a technical field
• 3+ year work experience with CNC controlled lathes and milling machines
• Experience with the following controllers: Siemens 840D and Heidenhain TNC 426
• Fluent English oral and written (all day-to-day activities are performed in English)
• Ability to machine complex and high tolerance components
• Strong quality awareness, technical understanding and self-independent and a structured way of working
• High motivation, ability to work in a team and drive to jump-in and help wherever needed
