PLC Software Developer (m / f / d)

What we want to trust you with

Are you passionate about software development and architectures in the automation environment and want to actively shape the future of industrial control systems? Then you've come to the right place : as an experienced PLC software developer, you will work with us to develop scalable, high-performance, state-of-the-art automation solutions.

In detail, this means :

  • You design, develop and document standardized PLC software solutions / architectures with Siemens TIA Portal and according to IEC 61131-3.
  • You integrate modern communication protocols such as OPC UA, IO-Link and Profinet to seamlessly network systems with each other
  • You use advanced software development principles such as object-oriented programming (OOP), test-driven development (TDD), version management with Git and principles such as continuous integration / continuous deployment.
  • You will also develop C# / .NET applications to extend the functionality of our automation solutions.
  • You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams, design system architectures and take responsibility for the success of our complex software platform.
  • As an experienced developer, you pass on your knowledge, support colleagues and establish best practices in the team.

The personalities we are looking for :

  • You have at least 10 years of experience in the development of PLC software - preferably in mechanical or plant engineering.
  • You are absolutely confident in working with Siemens TIA Portal and IEC 61131-3 programming
  • You are used to working with agile processes
  • You have in-depth knowledge of industrial communication protocols
  • You are fit in C# and .NET, especially in the context of industrial applications
  • You have experience with modern software development processes (OOP, TDD, Git, CI / CD) and are keen to actively develop them further.
  • You are a solution-oriented team player with high quality standards and enjoy innovation.

Nice to have

  • First points of contact with NextGen PLC platforms such as SimaticAX
  • Experience with Industry 4.0 concepts
  • Industry experience in the pharmaceutical industry and understanding of regulatory requirements
