Your Mission:

As our Platform Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in optimizing our platform to ensure stability, functionality, and scalability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver a cutting-edge microservices architecture that enhances our platform's performance and reliability. Additionally, you'll support the team in setting up infrastructure, implementing CI/CD processes, debugging issues, and ensuring seamless operations with a robust tech stack.

Key Responsibilities:

Modernize the platform with scalable web services architecture and ensure system stability.

Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and maintain infrastructure with GCP, Terraform, and Kubernetes.

Monitor and optimize system performance using Grafana and Sentry.

Support and maintain data processes with SQL, ETL tools ensuring the seamless functioning by setting them up, monitoring their performance and troubleshooting any issues.

Collaborate across teams and act as a technical advisor for stakeholders.

Occasionally administrative tasks such as setting up accounts and granting access for onboarding of new team members.

Your profile:

Experience: Proven professional experience in platform engineering or DevOps, with a strong grasp of web applications and cloud-based environments.

Technical Expertise:

Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

Hands-on experience with Firebase, Terraform, K8s and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Familiarity with monitoring tools like Grafana and Sentry. Experience with SQL, ETL tools, and Firebase for data management and app enhancement.

Basic familiarity with tools like PowerBI, WordPress and Google Workspace.

Problem-Solving: Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style.

Teamwork: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various departments and leadership.

GCP: Our entire infrastructure operates on Google Cloud Platform.
