Overview
We are seeking a Senior Platform Architect with expertise in defining and validating platform-level non-functional requirements (NFRs) to join a large-scale hybrid cloud platform initiative. You will work across multiple product lines to ensure platform architecture meets strategic objectives and delivers consistent, testable performance and operational characteristics.

Responsibilities

• Analyse inputs from multiple stakeholders to identify and consolidate non-functional requirements
  

• Document NFRs in a testable format and coordinate with QA to design fitness functions
  

• Integrate NFRs into architecture designs across product lines
  

• Monitor and report platform-level characteristics such as availability, capacity, cost, and response times
  

• Produce volumetric models and related documentation, ensuring stakeholder understanding and adoption
  

Requirements

Eligibility

• Residency in the EU, EEA, UK, or Switzerland
  

Requirements

• 5+ years as a platform architect or similar senior architecture role for developer platforms.
  

• Strong experience with cloud/hybrid architectures, software-defined infrastructure, Kubernetes, automation, and lifecycle management
  

• Expertise in abstraction and validation of NFRs
  

• Experience with critical infrastructure environments and distributed applications
  

• Experience of cloud and cloud-native architectures & technologies as well as methods & principles.
  

• Experience in the development and communication of a technology strategy.
  

• Experience in the modulation, abstraction and validation of non-functional requirements.
  

• Experience within platform and product thinking.
  

• Experience within Software Defined Infrastructure, Kubernetes, Software Lifecycle Management, Automation and providing technologies as a service.
  

• Experience private clouds and their integration into hybrid clouds.
  

• Experience in the environment of critical infrastructure.
  

• Experience with distributed applications.
  

• Experience with distributed data centre infrastructure.
  

Language Skills

• Fluent English (C1 or above)
  

• German B2+ desirable
