We are looking for a Platform and Cloud Architect (m/w/d) located in Trier, Vienna, Bordeaux, or 100% remote in Germany, Austria, France.

Your tasks are:

• Design and implement state-of-the-art application platform for the ORBIS U framework
• Define setup and develop cloud-based software focusing on AWS
• Ensure installability, portability, scalability, and serviceability
• Deliver reusable application and platform components
• Define and design new products and enhance current ones
• Prepare and conduct user testing with product managers
• Perform design reviews to evaluate and iterate designs
• Collaborate with local and international product teams

You’ll bring in:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent experience
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Java, Go, JavaEE, JBoss, Wildfly, Oracle, SQL
• Practical experience in developing enterprise applications with web technologies
• Experience setting up CI environments and implementing DevOps methodologies
• Knowledge in developing Web and Desktop Applications
• Strong oral and written English skills
