In your day-to-day responsibilities, you will guide maintenance technicians, assist with troubleshooting, and initiate corrective actions in the event of process deviations. Furthermore, the role supports the implementation of technical improvements and engineering changes to enhance equipment reliability and process performance.

  • Provide guidance and technical support to maintenance technicians in their daily tasks.
  • Manage and maintain standard equipment and spare parts data within the EAM system and support the identification and availability of critical components.

  • Participate in Tier 1 and Tier 2 meetings, ensure relevant maintenance data is prepared and entered in advance, and represent the maintenance department in Tier 3 meetings in the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Monitor the execution of internal calibrations and organize external calibrations in accordance with all applicable requirements. Maintain proper documentation of calibration data and ensure accurate entry into the EAM system. Support maintenance technicians during calibration activities as needed.

Engineering Projects & Technical Changes:

  • Evaluate technical modifications and equipment upgrades to ensure that critical process parameters are maintained or improved. This includes adherence to change control procedures, such as the Engineering Change Request (ECR) process.
  • Support and consult with the corporate engineering team during the planning and implementation of changes.
  • Track the status of ongoing technical projects and support the preparation of the monthly alignment call between the facility and the corporate engineering team. Present updates and project status during these meetings.
  • Participate in project-related activities such as design reviews, technical training, and change control processes.
  • Prepare and provide documentation (e.g. IQ/OQ protocols, test plans) required for equipment commissioning and validation.

Safety & Equipment Selection:

  • Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring full compliance with applicable safety policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Evaluate planned maintenance and technical work regarding safety risks and consult the responsible EHS representative when needed.
  • Prepare and issue work permits such as Pre-Task Safety Plans, hot work permits, and line break authorizations as required.
  • Support the selection and implementation of equipment with a focus on operational safety and ergonomics.
  • Evaluate and supervise external contractors performing technical work; ensure proper training is provided to meet internal safety and performance standards.

Administrative & Support Tasks:

  • Assist with the preparation of Expenditure Authorization (EA&PEP) requests and related documentation.
  • Support documentation and data entry related to maintenance activities, work orders, and spare parts in the EAM system.
  • Participate in audits or inspections by providing technical and maintenance-related input.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal maintenance procedures and documentation workflows.
