Zusammenfassung

Newark and Sherwood District Council is seeking a proactive Planner to join the Planning Policy team. You will contribute to developing the Local Plan, preparing evidence bases and policies, and support consultees and the public in the plan-making process.

You will be degree-qualified and hold RTPI Chartered Membership or be working towards it. The role offers hybrid working and opportunities to contribute to council priorities and community planning.

Qualifikationen

• Educated to degree level in planning or a related discipline.
• Chartered Membership of RTPI, or working towards RTPI Chartered status.
• Experience or ability to contribute to local plan making and evidence base.

• Develop and contribute to the Local Plan and associated evidence.
• Prepare and shape policy in line with planning regulations.

We are looking for a proactive and committed Planner to join our busy Planning Policy team. As a 'front runner' authority you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of a Local Plan in the new plan making system.

We are looking for somebody who can make a real difference producing the Local Plan, preparing evidence base and policy, supporting consultees and the public in engaging in the process. You will be educated to degree level and hold Chartered Membership of RTPI, or equivalent body, or be working towards attaining full Chartered membership of the RTPI.
