Job summary

Y-Axis in Berlin designs and develops mechanical cementing products, focusing on centralizers and related downhole tools. The role involves creating and maintaining 3D CAD models, drawings, and technical documentation to support robust product development.

Engineers will perform calculations and analyses, build prototypes, and lead lab and field testing to verify performance. Close collaboration with manufacturing aims to improve quality, manufacturability, and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical cementing products, with a primary focus on centralizers and related downhole tools.
• Create and maintain 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
• Perform engineering calculations and analyses to support product development and design validation.
• Design, build, and evaluate prototypes to verify product performance and functionality.
• Plan, coordinate, and support laboratory and field-testing activities.
• Collaborate closely with manufacturing teams to improve product quality, manufacturability, and production efficiency.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, including product enhancements and cost reduction projects.
• Provide technical support and engineering consultation to international customers and internal stakeholders.
• Participate in design reviews, troubleshooting activities, and root cause investigations.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, customer requirements, and applicable industry specifications.
