  • Perform mechanical calculations, stress analysis, tolerance and strength validations.
  • Support prototyping, testing, and validation of new machine systems.
  • Provide technical guidance for installation, commissioning, and maintenance of machinery.
  • Analyze failures, propose corrective actions and improvements.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, drawings (CAD), BOMs, and service manuals.
  • Collaborate with procurement to specify mechanical components and suppliers.
  • Supervise or perform mechanical maintenance, repairs, and overhauls at customer sites if needed.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • 3–5 years (or more) of hands-on experience in machine design, mechanical systems, or maintenance in industrial or machinery sectors.
  • Strong skills in CAD (e.g. SolidWorks, Inventor, Siemens NX) and mechanical simulation (FEA, stress analysis).
  • Knowledge of materials, tolerance design, fatigue, sealing and lubrication principles.
  • Experience in field servicing, troubleshooting mechanical issues.
  • Ability to read & create technical drawings and specifications.
  • Good communication skills in English (German is a plus).
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites.
What We Offer
  • Central role in shaping the mechanical excellence of PROBUS systems.
  • Close cooperation with a skilled engineering core team.
  • Competitive salary and bonus scheme.
