Job Description:

The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Data Center Operations Security Team is seeking a highly talented and motivated Security Program Manager to join our team in Frankfurt, Germany.

The position is responsible for the design, installation, and integration of security systems equipment, including but not limited to Access Control/Intrusion Detection and CCTV Surveillance systems.

The ideal candidates are willing and able to work in all related disciplines, from technology research to system design and layout, oversight of construction and implementation, as well as maintenance and upgrades over the life of the system. You will have in-depth knowledge of security technology, be innovative, highly organized, and have demonstrated the ability to deliver results on time and within budget.

The Security Program Manager (SPM) reports to the Cluster Security Manager in Frankfurt, Germany, and supervises the compliance of physical security standards, manages projects, and serves on cross-functional teams as a Subject Matter Expert in physical security.

The SPM's success is measured by their contribution to developing, implementing, and commissioning standardized security infrastructure systems for the AWS region, focusing on customer service, access control effectiveness, and the protection of data, employees, and visitors.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing technical leadership for large-scale security engineering projects.
• Coordinating security system design specifications and change management.
• Ensuring compliance with project standards, scopes of work, budgets, and timelines.
• Designing, developing, and implementing solutions for system installations, upgrades, repairs, and change-outs.
• Supporting system commissioning and final testing.
• Building and deploying training programs for security system users.

AWS Infrastructure Services manages the design, planning, delivery, and operation of AWS global infrastructure, supporting data centers, servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment. The team collaborates across AWS to ensure safety, security, and capacity at minimal costs, fostering an inclusive culture that encourages innovation and ownership.

Key job responsibilities include:

• Designing, developing, and implementing system solutions.
• Ensuring compliance with standards, scopes, budgets, and timelines.
• Managing installation, operation, and maintenance of security systems.
• Prioritizing tasks and working across organizational boundaries.
• Supporting commissioning, testing, and acceptance of security systems.
• Executing maintenance and repairs.
• Building and deploying user training programs.
