Job Opening: Philosophy Teacher for Secondary School

The European School of Karlsruhe is seeking a qualified Philosophy teacher to begin on the 1st of September 2025. The position involves teaching 6 periods per week.

The European School of Karlsruhe educates approximately 1000 pupils across three linguistic sections (DE, EN, FR), from ages 3 to 18. The school is located in Karlsruhe, a vibrant city in one of Europe's most dynamic regions, offering rich cultural and recreational opportunities.

Responsibilities

1. Teach Philosophy to classes 11 (S6, 4 periods) and 12 (S7, 2 periods), following the syllabus.
2. Work under the authority of the Director in a multi-lingual, multi-cultural environment.

Qualifications

• Degree, PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Mother tongue level in English.
• Experience in international or European schools is advantageous.
