Job Description

For our location in Neuss near Düsseldorf, we are looking for pharmacists (m/w/d) in the practical year, ongoing every six months (start in spring or fall). During your practical year, learn about our business area through a 6-month internship in Neuss and gain valuable experience before starting your third state examination. Janssen is one of the world's leading companies in research and development of innovative medicines. A professional support system with several pharmacists provides you with an initial professional orientation and insight into the industry. You can focus on the following areas:

  1. Commercial Quality - Insights into functions such as wholesale representative according to AMG §52a, quality representative according to AMG §63a, and responsible person for BtM under BtMG §3. - Overview of the entire process from development to successful product launch. - Evaluation of complaints, incoming goods inspection, correspondence with customers regarding product complaints, and support in legal assessments.
  2. Global Clinical Operations - Support for project managers in collecting, reviewing, and submitting documents for clinical trials. - Implementation of GCP, AMG, and ICH regulations. - Insights into clinical development strategies and global research structures.
  3. Medical Information & Communication - Handling medical customer inquiries from doctors and pharmacists. - Preparation and dissemination of scientific information. - Collaboration on department projects and gaining insights into Medical Affairs.
  4. Immunology Medical Department - Focus on chronic inflammatory diseases, especially dermatology. - Participation in cross-departmental meetings, project work, and scientific research.
  5. Pharmacovigilance - Support in collecting and tracking risks related to medicines, medical devices, and cosmetics during and after clinical trials. - Literature research for risk identification and assessment.

You will also have the opportunity to learn about Medical Information in-depth, with day-long rotations in areas like approval, therapeutic specialty, health policy, new business development, and digital solutions.

Qualifications
  • Successfully completed second state examination in pharmacy
  • Practical experience in a public pharmacy, ideally during the first six months of the practical year
  • High initiative, good analytical and communication skills
  • Good written and spoken English skills
  • Openness and interest in new challenges
