Our client is seeking a licensed and detail-oriented Pharmacist to manage prescription dispensing, ensure safe medication use, and provide professional guidance on pharmaceutical therapies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Review and interpret physician orders to ensure appropriate therapy and dosage
- Provide counseling to patients regarding proper medication usage, side effects, and interactions
- Maintain up-to-date patient records and pharmacy documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals on treatment plans
- Manage inventory and ensure proper storage and handling of pharmaceutical products
- Monitor for adverse drug reactions and report findings as required
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal pharmacy regulations and standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution
- Proven experience in a retail, hospital, or clinical pharmacy setting
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, drug interactions, and medical terminology
- Proficiency in pharmacy management systems and digital record-keeping
