Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Performance Coach to join the Exos team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of day-to-day fitness center operations, with the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with internal team members and clients.

Responsibilities:

1. Instruct, motivate, and assist clients in a safe, legal, moral, and ethical manner to achieve their goals.
2. Conduct on-site assessments of clients’ health using proprietary Exos evaluation protocols.
3. Update training plans and re-evaluate clients as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
4. Maintain constant communication with clients to ensure goals are being met.
5. Partner with clients (employers) to conduct activities and events that drive engagement and education (e.g., lunch & learns, information fairs, campus activities).
6. Present Exos methodology through education programs and participate in staff education as needed.
7. Report operational metrics such as attendance, engagement, outreach efforts, and activity levels.
8. Participate in program design, research, planning, and development.
9. Maintain professional credentials and attend necessary continuing education courses.
10. Some travel may be required.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of two years of coaching experience or completion of an Exos Performance Internship.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Sports Science, or a related field (Master’s Degree preferred).
3. Current industry certification, preferably NSCA-CSCS or NASM.
4. Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications.
5. Experience teaching group fitness classes with an emphasis on technique and ability improvement.
6. Excellent presentation skills in both small and large group settings.
7. Strong customer service skills, with a focus on servicing the client.
8. Energy and passion for helping others achieve their personal goals.
