Treatwell is looking for a People & Talent Coordinator for the DACH region to join our growing global People and Talent team. This role will involve a combination of hands-on operational responsibilities for both our current employees and future hires. The People & Talent Coordinator will play a key role in supporting employee experience, operational excellence, and recruitment practices across the DACH region, ensuring that the employee lifecycle is managed seamlessly while fostering an inclusive, engaging, and compliant work environment.
This role is responsible for managing all stages of the employee lifecycle for employees in the DACH region, driving operational efficiency, ensuring data accuracy, and delivering an exceptional employee experience from onboarding to offboarding. You will work closely with the Head of People Operations and collaborate with local leadership to support key business initiatives and ensure that HR practices align with local legislation and company values.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Lifecycle Management:
Support with the end-to-end employee lifecycle for employees in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), ensuring an engaging, consistent, and compliant experience at every stage from onboarding to offboarding.
Work closely with leaders to ensure that employees receive the support they need to succeed, and that the company’s values are reflected in all touchpoints with employees.
People Support Portal Management:
Manage and resolve queries raised through the People Support Portal in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that employees’ questions and concerns are addressed with high attention to detail and in line with company policies.
Act as the main point of contact for HR-related queries, providing excellent customer service and ensuring timely and accurate follow-up on all tickets.
Data Accuracy & People Systems:
Take ownership of maintaining data accuracy in all HR systems (e.g., payroll, benefits, HRIS), ensuring that employee information is up-to-date and compliant with local laws and company policy.
Manage and support the timely administration of employee records, ensuring that all information is processed accurately and securely.
Payroll Management (DACH Region):
Assist in setting up the monthly payroll process for employees in the DACH markets (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), ensuring that all payroll activities are executed accurately, on time, and in line with local regulations.
Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll-related queries, addressing concerns from employees and collaborating with external payroll providers when necessary.
Talent Operations & Sourcing:
Assist in talent operations, supporting the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing to onboarding, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for candidates.
Help manage recruitment metrics, such as time-to-hire, and support the implementation of strategies to improve the hiring process and candidate experience.
Employee Engagement & Retention:
Partner with leaders to drive initiatives that improve employee engagement, aligning with the overall objectives of the People and Talent function.
Work alongside HR and business leaders to implement initiatives that promote employee retention and satisfaction.
Collaboration with Head of People Operations:
Work closely with the Head of People Operations to ensure alignment across the DACH region, sharing insights and collaborating on strategic projects that enhance the overall employee experience.
Provide local insights and perspectives on people operations strategies, helping to shape the direction of HR practices in the DACH region.
Qualifications and Experience:
Experience: At least 1-2 years in Talent or People Operations roles, with at least 6 months experience in Talent Acquisition. Preferably in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).
HR Expertise: Knowledge of local labor laws or capability of building knowledge of HR best practices and employee relations management in the DACH markets.
Payroll Experience: Hands-on experience managing payroll in the DACH region or strong capability to learn, with a solid understanding of payroll processes, taxation, and compliance in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with HRIS systems and other HR technology platforms, with the ability to manage and leverage data for operational improvements.
People-Centric: Passionate about creating a positive employee experience and driving employee engagement.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and German (additional languages a plus). Ability to effectively communicate with diverse teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex HR issues and provide pragmatic solutions.
Cultural Awareness: Experience working in an international environment, with a deep understanding of the cultural nuances within the DACH region.
