As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced People & Recruiting Manager to lead our talent acquisition and human resources initiatives. This role is pivotal in shaping our company culture, attracting top talent, and ensuring a seamless employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition: Own and run the full-cycle recruiting process – from sourcing and screening to interviewing, offer management, and onboarding.
- Hiring Strategy: Work closely with hiring managers to plan future headcount needs, develop job descriptions, and ensure a smooth hiring experience for candidates and teams.
- HR Operations: Manage the day-to-day HR operations including payroll coordination, contract management, time off, benefits, and the administration of our HRIS (Rippling).
- Onboarding & Offboarding: Coordinate a consistent, welcoming onboarding experience and manage offboarding in close collaboration with managers and IT.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all HR processes are compliant with German labor law and keep employee documentation organized and up to date.
- Culture: Support and foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture by assisting in organizing team events, promoting company values, and championing employee engagement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a People & Recruiting role at a startup or scale-up – ideally in the B2B SaaS space.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes and supporting hiring teams.
- Strong understanding of German labor law, HR compliance, and modern people operations practices.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a hands-on, can-do attitude and high ownership.
- Proficiency with modern HR tools and systems.
- Fluent German speaker and writer – this is a must. You will handle contracts, HR compliance, and employee communication in German.
Location:
Berlin HQ - Hybrid (min. 2-3 days at the Office).
