Join deskbird as a People Operations Lead (f / m / d) and take full ownership of our people operations function. You will ensure compliance, optimize people processes, and foster a positive work environment in line with our mission to revolutionize workplaces worldwide.

In this role you will

1. Have complete ownership and responsibility for people operations topics.
2. Manage HR compliance.
3. Oversee our HRIS and people data management.
4. Review payroll in close collaboration with our People Operations Specialist.
5. Conduct employee surveys and improve current processes.
6. Support career and performance management.
7. Handle employee relations and wellbeing initiatives.
8. Act as a trustworthy HR lead and partner.
9. Organize company events.
10. Negotiate contractual conditions for external tools.

What you need to be successful

1. At least 3-5 years of experience in relevant HR operations roles within startups, scaleups, or similar fast-paced environments such as consulting or investment banking.
2. A degree in human resources or related field.
3. Excellent communication skills and trustworthiness.
4. Strong data and business acumen.
5. Based in Europe.

Fluency in German is a big plus.
