THE ROLE & THE TEAM

Our People Analytics & Research team is part of our Business Unit People & Organization (P&O). We are looking for a People Insights Analyst to support reporting and insights generation for our People Experience team, including Talent Acquisition. You will partner with stakeholders across the organization to ensure high-quality reporting, insights sharing, and execution of project strategies to address people and talent-related business needs, contributing to Zalando’s vision of becoming the starting point for fashion. Your role is crucial in supporting evidence-based decision-making on people topics through innovative HR processes.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
  1. Act as the point of contact for data analysis, reporting, and cross-functional projects within People, collaborating with stakeholders to define strategies and identify improvements.
  2. Work with technical teams on data-related topics, aiming to enhance analytical and technical capabilities, including automation and tooling.
  3. Maintain and develop reporting dashboards in our Workday environment to support performance optimization and resource evaluation.
  4. Collaborate with stakeholders inside and outside P&O to ensure that organizational and talent decisions are reflected in reporting plans.
  5. Develop and communicate business insights regularly in a clear and engaging manner.
WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF
  1. You have relevant experience in data analysis, controlling, or reporting, not limited to HR.
  2. You have practical experience with KPIs, reports, and dashboards, ideally in Workday or HR environments.
  3. You possess strong project and stakeholder management skills and are solution-oriented.
  4. You have experience managing large datasets using Python, R, or SQL, with skills in data visualization and presentation.
  5. You are proactive, stakeholder-focused, and committed to data accuracy.
  6. You hold a degree in a STEM field or have advanced knowledge in quantitative subjects like Statistics or Economics.
