Zusammenfassung

World Relief is seeking a program officer to serve as the PC funding expert, ensuring grant compliance across assessment, service provision, progress tracking, and reporting.

You will develop guidance resources for the PC Group Services Track, collaborate with senior leaders to train staff on best practices, and support field offices with monitoring and TA. Travel up to 10% for site visits and trainings may be required.

Qualifikationen

  • At least 1 year of experience in refugee resettlement work, with familiarity in refugee resettlement terminology and concepts
  • Experience in a grant-compliance context
  • At least 2 years’ experience as a case manager and/or groups facilitator
  • Bachelor’s degree in a human services field or MSW from an accredited school of social work
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Teams, Excel, Word) and Asana
  • Christian faith is a prerequisite for employment
  • Must comply with pre-employment substance abuse testing
  • Preferred: Experience working for World Relief and familiarity with its systems
  • Preferred: Experience with the Preferred Communities (PC) program at the field level
  • Preferred: Experience leading group or classroom settings with newly arrived populations
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in social work

Aufgaben

  • Serve as the program expert in using PC funding to support groups and gaps service tracks, ensuring grant compliance
  • Develop guidance resources for the PC Group Services Track and Gaps Services grant implementation
  • Collaborate with the Director of Mental Health and Psychosocial Support and Associate Director of Preferred Communities to identify and train staff on best practices for PC groups, extended cultural orientation workshops, and other gap services
  • Maintain understanding of MHPSS curricula and formats, including First Aid Arts, Amal, and Hope Groups
  • Organize and facilitate the Groups Community of Practice and technical assistance training for PC Gaps enrollment and service tracking
  • Ensure program compliance for an assigned portfolio of field and subrecipient offices through monitoring, consultation, and technical assistance
  • Build familiarity and rapport with local staff
  • Provide onboarding support for new managers and PC-funded staff
  • Conduct annual PC Site Profile reviews for PC-funded staff
  • Host quarterly manager check-ins to promote accountability, self-audit completion, and awareness of home office guidance
  • Maintain home office administrative records for assigned portfolio offices
  • Conduct PC monitoring visits to field offices and follow-up desk audits
  • Collaborate with fellow Program Officers on network-wide programmatic needs
  • Collaborate with Education Service Line staff to integrate English language learning and adult education principles into MHPSS group programming
  • Participate in Communities of Practice and cross-departmental meetings within the refugee resettlement community
  • Contribute to case file form creation and revision
  • Coordinate with the MHPSS Training Officer to promote case management tools and resources
  • Contribute to semiannual reporting
  • Travel up to 10% for site visits and training facilitation
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Mature and personal Christian faith

  • Committed to the mission, vision, and values of World Relief

  • Desire to serve and empower the Church to impact vulnerable communities

  • Able to affirm and/or acknowledge World Relief’s Core Beliefs, Statement of Faith, Christian Identity and National Association of Evangelicals’ For the Health of The Nation document
