Job Description

Role Overview:

We are an international Global Business Services (GBS) organization dedicated to providing comprehensive support for business processes across the EMEA region. Situated in the city center, our company serves as a strategic hub for delivering efficient and effective solutions to diverse business needs.

As a Payroll Specialist, you will manage end-to-end payroll processes for Germany, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. The role involves collaborating with a payroll provider, providing necessary data, and assisting in payroll calculations in compliance with local laws and corporate policies. You will report directly to the Payroll Team Leader.

Role Responsibilities
  • Managing end-to-end payroll processes for the German market.
  • Collaborating with payroll providers to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Providing all necessary data to facilitate payroll preparation.
  • Assisting in payroll calculations, including social charges, income tax, holiday pay, severance, and income details, ensuring compliance with local laws and policies.
  • Validating and analyzing payroll results for accuracy.
  • Processing salary, benefits, and other payroll-related payments.
  • Participating in payroll projects focused on process improvement, standardization, and digitalization.
  • Maintaining knowledge of labor and social security legislation to ensure compliance.
  • Preparing cash forecasts and accruals for financial reporting.
  • Reviewing payroll journal entries and recharges.
  • Understanding HR activities related to employment, especially in the German market.

Experience and Competencies
