Qualifikationen

  • You have completed a commercial apprenticeship or hold a degree in business administration, human resources, business law, or a comparable qualification.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and ideally have experience with the HR system Personio.
  • Your analytical skills and strong attention to detail help you optimize processes effectively.
  • You are a true multitasker and stay organized, even when handling several tasks at once.
  • You enjoy working in a team, communicate clearly, and can explain complex topics in an understandable way.
  • Your accuracy and analytical mindset help you avoid mistakes and improve payroll and HR processes.
  • You communicate fluently in German and English, both written and spoken.

Aufgaben

  • You are responsible for preparing the monthly payroll for multiple countries.
  • You work closely with the external payroll partner under the Employer of Record model.
  • You create and maintain annual reports for various institutions.
  • You handle the Expat Payroll and coordinate tax-related processes.
  • You are responsible for system administration of Personio.
  • You act as the process owner for the A1 certificate procedure.

Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for a Payroll Specialist (m/f/d) who will play a key role in international HR and payroll administration – with responsibility for cross-border payroll processes. Become part of our multinational team of around 300 employees, representing more than 33 different nationalities across Europe. Diversity is our strength! We are excited to welcome highly motivated new colleagues to our current 12-person Human Resources team, working collaboratively in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Your role and responsibilities:
  • You are responsible for preparing the monthly payroll (Preparatory Payroll) for multiple countries, including Germany, the UK, Italy, France, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland, and Hungary.
  • You work closely with our external payroll partner Deel under the Employer of Record (EOR) model.
  • You create and maintain annual reports for institutions such as Hessenmetall, Rehadat, BGHW, IHK, and others.
  • You handle the Expat Payroll and coordinate tax-related processes as well as collaboration with tax advisors.
  • You are responsible for system administration of Personio: data maintenance, reporting, and process optimization.
  • You act as the process owner for the A1 certificate procedure related to international assignments within the EU.
