Qualifikationen

  • 2-4 years of payroll processing experience.

You will be managing and overseeing all our payroll activities, and will serve as the main contact point for our team for all their questions regarding pay policies & procedures. You will be part of the People & Culture team and will be an integral part of ensuring our workforce stays happy, motivated and paid on time!

Your Tasks
  • Process regular payroll information, as well as bonuses and off-cycle checks when necessary
  • Oversee payroll within our German entity
  • Continuous optimization of processes and procedures in cooperation with Finance team and external service providers
  • Ensure our benefits are well accounted for from a law/ tax perspective
  • Be the main contact point in the relationship with our suppliers on payroll and benefits topics
  • Keep abreast of the payroll processing system and changes in wage/tax laws, and applies changes as appropriate
  • Perform overtime audits as needed
  • Responds to questions regarding pay policies/procedures
  • Prepare payroll and benefits relevant reports for upper management, finance department etc.
  • Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with customers, both internal and external
Your Profile

  • 2-4 years of payroll processing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience
  • Know-how in German payroll related legislation
  • Experience with payroll software and payroll reporting systems (preferably Paychex)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Excellent communications, organizational, and time-management skills required

Language
  • as soon as possible
Location

Onsite in Berlin is preferred
Hybrid system:

  • 2 days per week at the office, 3 days remote
