Jobbeschreibung:

The Value Stream Leader Parts Neuwied will lead the value stream of BWC Neuwied with responsibility for order through shipment of service parts, managing the P&L, and hitting key performance targets for safety, quality, availability, profitability, and warranty.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop the strategic direction for the Service Parts Value Stream (SPVS) to ensure that the team continues to improve year over year on KPI’s.
  • Manage the P&L, implement key pricing initiatives, and lead the team to exceed budget numbers and accurately forecast monthly financials.
  • Work cross-functionally with aftermarket leaders to implement life cycle support initiatives and with new equipment leaders to stay aligned on commercial and new product development initiatives.
  • Oversee the identification, prioritization, and execution of continuous improvement opportunities to drive step changes, increase overall operational effectiveness and support proactive and measurable process improvement results to ensure consistency and standardization of best practices and tools.
  • Work with the Quality team to address quality topics with solid containment, root cause, and permanent corrective action.
  • Develop and implement the structure and processes which deliver parts at or above customer expectations and within financial goals.
  • Align people, processes, measurements, standards, and efforts across disciplines with a primary focus on safety, delivery, quality, and cost.
  • Grow and develop team members in alignment with corporate and divisional expectations.
  • Participate in and lead global initiatives as requested.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Lead and progress the company’s B2B E-commerce Platform. Responsibility for Shop Administration and Content Management.
  • Lead the size- and format-tool design and construction department, format tools are used in our converting machines these includes developing of new cutting-, gluing-, folding systems.

Realize customer size and format tool request.

  • Responsible for the stock inventory of the Parts availability, continually work to improve the stock strategy and customer parts availability and optimize the working capital.
  • Lead the VS Parts purchasing Team. That’s buying all sold parts globally. Parts buying from vendors and in the repair buying process and the parts treatment process (coating, manufacturing) from vendors.
  • Lead the repair process team for resharpening cutting and embossing tooling.
  • Lead the Hygiene Swap-Team, Sales price calculation process (restatement value) identifies wear parts, needed repair cost calculation and sales price calculation. Organize the repair process in the organization.
  • Responsibly for all price settings and developing strategic pricing-tools, like tier-pricing, customer price factors and tier setting and value pricing. Developing strategic price approaches to group customers with pricelist and bonus agreements to improve sales success.
  • Setting Sales Teams, sales targets and revenue targets, improve sales development. Control and play games/Sales-Bonus. Improvement of the sales effective and performance. Hit rate and speed to answer.
  • Handle customer dunning and credit issues.
  • Lead the Data-Management team, Permanent update of the BOM from sold machines when the machine gets upgrades, modification and part obsoletion solutions. Permanent update of the footprint analysis as a frame for the global parts sales approach.
  • Conducting of personnel development and performance discussions.
  • SAP Key-user for Pricing and part sales process.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Master degree or equivalent experience in engineering or another related field and at least 6 years of experience in sales or sales support, with at least 3 of those years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in organizing, planning, and executing large-scale projects from the envisioning and assessment stage to implementation.
  • Experience working with senior leaders during times of organizational change and transformation.
  • Proven experience defining KPIs, managing reporting and showcasing data-driven results around overall business management.
  • Experience in spare parts business in machine producing industry with all kinds of tools like e.g. value pricing, pricing in price groups, tier pricing…
  • Knowledge to manage spare parts stocks and spare parts purchasing activities.

  • Good English language skills (verbal and in writing).
  • Strong business knowledge with a proven ability to use communications to drive business strategy.
  • Demonstrated organizational leadership for building a strong performing team that can drive results.
  • Excellent team building and change management skills, and the leadership skillset to recruit, train, coach, and mentor team members.
  • Ability to travel by air or car.

  • Occasional exposure to typical machine shop physical hazards.
  • Travel by air or car occasionally.
