As the first Partnership / Growth Manager in Germany for our client, you will be instrumental in launching and scaling their presence in the German market. This is a high-impact, strategic role focused on building and nurturing key partnerships, driving growth initiatives, and shaping the go-to-market approach in collaboration with the Head of Sales. You will play a foundational role in their international expansion, working to establish the company as a leading e-commerce marketplace in Germany.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a localized partnership and growth strategy to identify, engage, and onboard German retailers and e-tailers across key verticals.
  • Establish, manage, and expand strategic partnerships with local solution providers, e-commerce agencies, and referral partners to accelerate market penetration.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to understand the German e-commerce landscape, partnership opportunities, and competitive positioning.
  • Identify and approach potential partners and sellers via LinkedIn, industry directories, trade associations, and networking events.
  • Tailor partnership proposals and value propositions to resonate with German stakeholders, ensuring cultural and linguistic alignment.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success in B2B partnership development, business development, or sales roles, ideally within marketplaces or e-commerce targeting German retailers.
  • Native-level fluency in German and professional proficiency in English
  • Deep understanding of the German business culture and e-commerce ecosystem.
  • Strong experience with LinkedIn and other digital tools for lead generation and relationship management.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a remote-first environment.

Preferred skills

  • Experience with tech tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesforce, Apollo, Hunter.io, ChatGPT, or other AI-driven tools.
  • Proven track record of launching or scaling a partnership or sales function in a new market.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and appointment booking tools.
  • Knowledge of German e-commerce regulations and seller expectations.
  • Experience with automation tools, AI-driven lead generation, or e-commerce integrations.
