We are seeking a dynamic Partner Relationship Manager in Germany to join our Global Partner Management team.Position Overview:
The DACH Partner Relationship Manager will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining partner relationships within the Microsoft partner ecosystem across the territory. Expanding Aptean’s partner network globally is a strategic initiative within the business.
The DACH Partner Relationship Manager will meet with prospective partners and onboard new partners. They will provide support and training as well as manage the performance of existing partners. Additionally, they will be responsible for presenting Aptean’s solutions to partners and prospective partner customers.
As an Aptean Partner Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for working directly with partners to strategize and build pipeline, accurately forecast and drive deals to meet all quarterly sales targets. You will work with partner stakeholders to drive sales enablement and coordinate technical training of Apteans solutions, work with respective field teams on demand generation initiatives and campaigns, as well as work with direct sales on various partner oriented opportunities.
Reporting directly to the Senior Director, Partner Sales, this role requires someone with a passion for building and nurturing relationships, a strategic mindset, and a focus on driving growth through the partner network. As the Partner Relationship Associate, you will need to collaborate cross-functionally to ensure partners receive the necessary support and resolution. In this role it will be critical to ensure all partner interactions are handled professionally and with the highest level of service, follow through and consistency.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Drive revenue streams from new and existing partner relationships• Take ownership of end-to-end sales delivery and providing ongoing partner support to ensure success• Collaborate with Sales and Solution Consulting teams to develop innovative strategies highlighting capability with a strong focus on Aptean’s Food and Beverage products• Collaborate with the sales team to align sales and channel efforts and be able to identify and resolve conflicts and challenges within the channel • Monitor industry trends and stay up to date on competitors and market conditions• Contribute to high-level sales strategy development and tactical "boots on the ground" activities• Assist partners with initial training or sales calls as necessary• Work cross functionally in a large matrix organization to deliver on goals• Provide management with regular updates on pipeline progress and closed-won dealsRequired Skills:
• Fluency in English and in German• Has accomplished level understanding of Microsoft partner network and the ability to connect this knowledge and expertise to maintain and expand relationships with Microsoft Business Central resellers• Partner oriented with proven ability to sell value through a Consultative Selling approach• Demonstrated ability to understand partner/vendor dynamics and overcome hurdles to close business• Must be motivated, goal oriented with the proven ability to work with minimal direction and maintain a high level of collaboration across geographical matrix based org.• Possesses a high degree of honesty, integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality• Good decision making ability and negotiation skills • Ability to handle working within a busy and fast-paced environment, and work under pressure where there are multiple critical incidents occurring.• Capable of understanding the partner, the situation, and be able to tailor communications accordingly.• Is a creative thinker, proactive, team player, success-oriented, and delivers on commitments.• Deals well with ambiguous or undefined problems; ability to think abstractly and guide others.• Advanced problem solving and troubleshooting skills including understanding business needs, priorities and urgencies, and driving problem resolution.• Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills• Excellent communication, influencing and presentation skills.
