ERM is searching for a leader to spearhead the expansion of our Capital Project Delivery business in the German renewables market. As a Partner, you will leverage your consulting expertise, business acumen, and technical knowledge in onshore wind, offshore wind, and solar power to unlock new growth opportunities.

ERM in Germany

Since established in 1989, ERM Germany has enjoyed steady growth and now employs over 150 people across multiple locations. Our Capital Projects Delivery (CPD) team has built a solid reputation in the environmental services market, delivering technically challenging environmental and social impact studies (EIA’s and ESIA’s) for major infrastructure projects in Germany. Over the past 15 years, this team has more than tripled in size, working with clients including domestic companies, large German and European banks, international lenders, and corporate clients, supporting project financing and greenfield development decisions.

In collaboration with key players in the Power, Onshore, and Offshore wind energy markets, you will be responsible for the commercial growth of our renewable services in Germany. This involves working with existing clients and acquiring new business. Our go-to-market model encourages our Partners to build long-term, deep relationships with clients and to support their full asset lifecycle through a multidisciplinary team. This role is primarily focused on the German market. Business-fluent German and English skills are mandatory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bring proven consultancy experience with a track record of delivering pragmatic, innovative solutions to clients in the renewables sector in Germany. Demonstrate solid management and leadership skills, along with excellent communication abilities to engage stakeholders effectively.
  • Develop new client relationships and expand existing ones by providing strategic consulting advice, delivering value, and ensuring quality service through project planning and feasibility phases.
  • Formulate and execute commercial strategies to pursue and secure new business opportunities, creating a sales pipeline that supports sustainable growth year over year.
