What You Will Find With Us

We are looking for a dedicated leadership personality for our dynamically growing Defense division. As an expert in this area, you will play a central role in setting up and maintaining new customer accounts. Together with our customers, you will develop customized digital transformation strategies, ensure their successful implementation and generate sustainable impact.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage complex digital transformation projects in highly regulated and security-sensitive environments, from strategy development to implementation.
2. Serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders within defense organizations such as the Bundeswehr, BAAINBw (Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support), and other defense-related institutions. Identify their needs and translate them into digital solutions.
3. Develop and maintain long-term client relationships, contributing to business development and account growth.
4. Shape and expand the firm’s service offerings for the defense sector including topics such as IT strategy, cloud adoption, cybersecurity etc.
5. Collaborate with internal leadership to align go-to-market strategies, investment decisions, and long-term positioning in the defense ecosystem.

Who You Are

In addition to a strong can-do mentality and extensive consulting experience in the defense industry, you own the following qualities and qualifications:

1. Outstanding university degree.
2. Knowledge of industry-driven innovation and product development processes in a safety-critical environment.
3. Proven track record in consulting and sales, ideally in the defense sector.
4. Senior leadership experience and successful management of complex, interdisciplinary projects with multiple stakeholders.
5. Knowledge of dual-use technologies, embedded systems, avionics, sensors, ISR, and IT platforms.
6. Established network within the industry as well as contacts to relevant military decision-makers such as the BAAINBw (Bundesamt für Ausrüstung, Informationstechnik und Nutzung der Bundeswehr), in particular Departments I and G.
7. Market knowledge of export markets and international programs (e.g. FCAS, MGCS, MARTE, Eurodrone etc.).
8. Excellent intercultural communication skills as well as strong negotiation skills in German (C1), English and French as a plus.
9. Willingness to take on responsibility and further develop the division.
10. High willingness to travel.
