For our high-tech R&D center, we are currently looking for a Packaging Engineer (f/m/d) based in Monheim am Rhein. The position is limited to 12 months.

Your Responsibilities
  • Collaborate effectively across functions and in global teams; liaise externally with multiple development partners in the packaging industry.
  • Develop and own expertise in a wide range of packaging technologies; define and perform scientific test programs and data analysis.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary problem-solving efforts to optimize packaging design and resolve manufacturing challenges.
  • Collaborate with Ecolab’s Marketing and Sales organization to understand customer and business needs and translate these into new packaging designs.
Your Profile
  • University degree in packaging engineering, chemical or mechanical engineering, or natural sciences, with up to 2 years of work experience in an international environment, preferably in packaging development.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with a self-reliant, autonomous working style.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders in an international environment.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new and different situations.
  • Fluency in English is required.
