OT Management & Supervision
Oversee the overall functioning of the operation theatre
Schedule surgeries and allocate OT staff accordingly
Supervise nursing staff, technicians, and support staff

Infection Control & Sterilization
Ensure strict adherence to aseptic techniques
Monitor sterilization of surgical instruments and OT environment
Enforce infection prevention protocols

Surgical Support
Coordinate with surgeons, anesthetists, and nursing teams
Ensure timely availability of surgical instruments and consumables
Monitor patient preparation and recovery before and after surgery

Inventory & Equipment Management
Maintain stock of surgical supplies, instruments, and drugs
Ensure OT equipment is functioning and properly maintained
Request procurement and manage OT inventory efficiently

Documentation & Compliance
Maintain accurate records of surgical cases and staff rosters
Ensure compliance with NABH, JCI, and hospital standards
Participate in audits, training, and quality control programs

Team Leadership & Training
Lead and guide OT staff to maintain discipline and teamwork
Conduct training for new staff on OT protocols and safety
Handle staff grievances and promote effective communication

Emergency Readiness
Ensure the OT is always prepared for emergency surgeries
