The cybersecurity engineer is responsible for the technical execution of Omnivise Cybersecurity projects, from technical clarification, design, and architecture, to procurement, implementation, monitoring, and reporting. The role involves working in the office, at factory acceptance tests, or on-site at industrial locations worldwide. The engineer ensures the security of critical infrastructure for customers.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Design architecture, components, and mechanisms for cybersecurity solutions
• Make decisions on security-related issues
• Facilitate procurement of third-party hardware/software
• Implement Siemens Energy cybersecurity solutions following industry best practices
• Monitor and report on budget and work progress, and prepare customer documentation

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or electrical engineering with 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity project execution; experience in Operational Technology preferred
• Experience with cybersecurity controls in OT, preferably with Siemens Energy control systems
• Knowledge of cybersecurity standards and regulations for OT and ICS
• Excellent communication skills in German and English
• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks under pressure
• Certifications such as GICSP, CISSP preferred
